PADI Rescue Diver

The PADI Rescue Diver course is a four-day class involving classroom presentations, confined water and open water skill development sessions followed by 2 open water scenario dives. When completing the course, the student is certified as a PADI Rescue Diver and qualifies for further training as a PADI Divemaster.
Prerequisite: Applicant must be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI-recognized equivalent and completed PADI EFR Primary and Secondary Care training during the last 24 months or PADI-recognized equivalent. Plus 20 logged dives.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
(minimum 18 years of age in order to track toward Divemaster)
Certification: PADI Rescue Diver
Number of Dives: 2 (10 training exercises and 2 open water scenarios conducted during confined water and open water sessions)
